Before
I go into the diet, let me tell you a little bit about myself.  My name is Mariana, I am 38 and have a beautiful son, Bryan, whom
you saw in the pictures from age 1 month to 7 years. Before I had Bryan, I struggled with my weight for years, but then after having
him, it was even worse. A good year went by after having Bryan and I was still well over 200 pounds. I had researched and tried many
weight loss programs both before and after having Bryan, I call this the yo-yo dieting years. I did Slim Fast, Weight Watchers, the soup
diet, Atkins, chromium picolinate, the three-day juice diet at $23.00 a bottle, L.A. Weight Loss, just to name a few. I lost some pounds
with every diet, and then eventually gained it back, usually with a few extra pounds.
Well, there I was at a garage sale buying, (what else?) cookbooks. When I got home and started reading through my new acquired
cookbooks, I found an envelope post-dated from over half a century ago with a diet inside. I looked at it and thought, "wow, this looks
doable." Sure enough, I did the diet and stuck with it for 2 weeks, and at the end of those 2 weeks, I had actually lost 15 pounds.   You
can imagine: What a feeling of accomplishment!    

Now as to the diet plan, it is very easy to follow, very simple and very fast, containing a mixture of meats, vegetables and fruits that you
eat for a certain number of days. Then you follow the maintenance portion of the program in Chapter 5 for a week to get your body
adjusted to its new weight and then continue on with the diet in that format until you’ve reached your target weight. It’s just so simple
and doable, that’s what brought on my own personal success.
I continued to follow the diet until I had lost a total of 60 pounds, and altogether it only took 11 weeks. You can probably understand
now why I called it, the "Guardian Angel Diet." But the best part of all is that through my experience with the diet, I had acquired

(Q)  I'm confused by all of the labels I see on foods, like "fat free" and "low calorie".   Will your plan help me to learn about them?
(A)   Absolutely.  Included with the Guardian Angel Diet, you will receive The Guardian Angel Calorie Log and Chart from A to Z to help you understand
your calorie and carbohydrate intake and how to balance it.

(Q)   My doctor had just told me that the constant pain in my low back was arthritis and that losing weight would be important to minimizing the effects of the
disease over time.  Can I use the Guardian Angel Diet even with arthritis to lose weight?
(A)   Yes.  In fact, when I was overweight, at about 210 pounds, I remember even short walks would make my hip pain act up.  But since losing 60 pounds
on The Guardian Angel Diet, I no longer have the hip pain that I used to have.  It all stemmed from being overweight.

(Q)   Are there any hidden costs associated with your diet program?
(A)   No. There are no hidden costs, no monthly dues to pay, no prepackaged foods to purchase.   Everything you will need to lose weight is probably
already in your refrigerator or a short trip to your local supermarket.  My goal with this diet has been and is to help people lose weight fast, safe and easy
without having to pay high costs of diet programs like I did for years so that people can forego the "yo-yo" dieting and start really losing weight and living their
life the way they dreamed it could be.

(Q)   Is the Guardian Angel Diet safe and healthy?
(A)   Yes.  The Guardian Angel Diet is made up of common meats, fruits and vegetables.   But since each individual is unique, I always recommend seeking
the advice of your physician before starting any diet program.

(Q)    How can I follow a healthy diet if I eat out a lot?
(A)    I know how busy life can be.  I, too, eat out quite a bit with my schedule, and so the maintenance portion of the diet program teaches you how to
maintain a healthy weight eating at home and also while eating out and on the go.

(Q)    How much water and other fluids should I drink?
(A)     It is recommended to drink 64 fluid ounces of water a day.  Although, my strategy is to try to drink a full glass of water before every meal, including
snacks.  This will help keep you hydrated, therefore, help to reduce water retention and also help speed up your metabolism.

(Q)     Many diets say to limit my sodium. Is your diet plan salt free?
(A)     That is purely up to you.  Since my diet is very versatile with different meats, fruits and veggies, I leave that up to you whether to add salt or alternative
spices to season your food with.  I personally did add salt to my meats and even my salads, but if you prefer not to, there are many alternatives to salt.

(Q)     Do I have to count out how many calories I should eat a day to maintain my current weight or meet my target weight?
(A)     While on the diet plan itself during the losing process, you do not need to count calories at all.  That has already been calculated for you so that you do
not need to focus on that to actually lose the weight.  Once on the maintenance portion of the diet, you will learn to count your calories to maintain your
weight to a point that you won't need to use the Calorie Log & Chart any longer, it becomes like second nature.

(Q)    I read that the various additives eliminated by the Feingold Program
have been shown to damage muscles, nerves, the immune system, DNA, reproductive ability, and even to cause cancers and tumors. Do you use additives?
Is your program Safe?
(A)    Since the program has no prepackaged foods and only natural meats, fruits and vegetables, there are no additives to worry about while on the
Guardian Angel Diet.

(Q)   Can I drop a dress size or 2 in 14 days?
(A)    Dropping 2 dress sizes would be a little unrealistic, but 1 dress size, yes.  I personally lost a dress size the first two weeks on the diet program.

(Q)     I have a bad knee and can't do very much exercise. Can I still use your program?
(A)     Yes.  The beauty of The Guardian Angel Diet is that you will lose weight with absolutely no exercise.  But, again, in the maintenance portion of the diet
I do recommend starting a light to moderate exercise program.  You should try to find some kind of exercise that is not too harsh on your knee, like
swimming is a very low-resistance exercise but with a lot of benefits for physical health.

(Q)     I have a food allergy that could kill me, will your diet include beans?
(A)     No, there are no beans in the diet.  And with The Guardian Angel Diet, I do give a list of substitute foods for people who may not like or are allergic to
certain foods.  For instance, in the fruit category, because grapefruits can sometimes interfere with some types of medication, I recommend eating oranges
instead.

(Q)     I'm a type 2 diabetic and have to eliminate sugar and carbohydrates from my diet; can I benefit from the Guardian Angel Diet plan?
(A)     Yes.  The only sugars that you will be eating during The Diet Plan
phase of the diet will be certain fruits.  It is also based on a lower carbohydrate intake, so you would definitely benefit from the Plan.

(Q)     I'm in a wheelchair.  Do you think I can still lose weight on your diet?

(A)    Yes, because the diet itself is not based on exercise, you will lose weight without exercising.
